We grab every opportunity that we have to be somewhat cultured and at the same time introduce our little boy to the beauty of art, literature and music. Last Sunday, we visited the MIA with 2 great friends to see the Matisse collection. His work is filled with colors and light and is comprised of paintings, lithographs, prints and quite a number of sculptures. Here are some just for preview. It will run until May 18 so please go check it out while you can.
“Before, when I didn’t know what color to put down, I put down black.
Black is a force: I use black as ballast to simplify construction.”
Anyway, this is not an April Fool’s joke but we do have extra 4 adult tickets that we want to give away ($80 dollar-value). Please email me at email@example.com if you are interested or if you have any questions or leave a comment below and if there will be more than one comment, we will pick one person at random. The tickets are in PDF-format so you can print them on your own. 🙂
